The e-xpert professional connection kit makes life easier during installation of your battery monitor. It contains all necessary items for a professional and safe connection of the e-xpert battery monitor to your battery and shunt. This kit contains industrial grade twisted pair cable, dual inline fuseholders and all needed terminals. The connection kit is available in lengths of 10, 15, 20 and 30 meters and is compatible with both e-xpert pro and e-xpert lite models.

Quick Connection kit (for e-xpert pro (-hv) and e-xpert lite)

note : shunt and battery monitor are not included in this accessory kit

The e-xpert quick connection kit simplifies the installation of the battery monitor even more. This kit contains two small PCBs, one to be mounted on the shunt and one to be mounted on the rear side of the battery monitor. Furthermore, one wire from the positive battery terminal needs to be connected to the shunt mounted PCB as well. And finally the also included RJ45 twisted pair cable simply connects the shunt to the battery monitor in one step.

The quick connection kit is available in lengths of 3 and 10 meters and is compatible with both e-xpert pro and e-xpert lite models. TBS advises to use the quick connection kit only in relatively clean, dry and vibration free environments. If your application does not meet these conditions, the professional connection kit would be a better choice.

Temperature sensor kit (for e-xpert pro (-hv) only)

Implementing the e-xpert pro temperature sensor kit, even more precise battery monitoring can be accomplished by tracking the exact temperature of your battery. The temperature sensor kit contains a temperature sensor with RJ12 connector and a clear installation guide. The temperature sensor kit is available in the following lengths : 10, 15, 20 and 30 meters.

The e-xpert pro USB communication kit contains a fully isolated interface box, an e-xpert pro to interface box connection cable, a USB interface cable, the "Dashboard" Windows software and a clear installation guide. The complete kit enables you to control, readout and configure the e-xpert pro from your Windows PC. Another possibility is to use the PC as a datalogger to record all measured parameters for further analysis.

RS-232 communication kit (for e-xpert pro (-hv) only)

The e-xpert pro RS-232 communication kit contains a fully isolated interface box, an e-xpert pro to interface box connection cable, an RS-232 interface cable, the "Dashboard" Windows software and a clear installation guide. The complete kit enables you to control, readout and configure the e-xpert pro from your Windows PC. Another possibility is to use the PC as a datalogger to record all measured parameters for further analysis.

1:5 Active voltage prescaler kit (for e-xpert pro only)

The e-xpert pro 1:5 Active voltage prescaler kit, extends the input voltage range of the e-xpert pro to enable implementation in 48 VDC up to 120 VDC battery systems (maximum input voltage is 175VDC). This kit contains a voltage divider box with build-in DC-DC converter, all needed terminals and a double sided adhesive pad for mounting the divider box.

1:5 and 1:10 Passive voltage prescaler kits (for e-xpert pro only)

The e-xpert pro 1:5 and 1:10 Passive voltage prescaler kits, respectively extend the voltage sense input range of the e-xpert pro from 0 VDC to 175 VDC or 0 VDC to 350 VDC. Being passive prescalers, these units are not equipped with an internal DC-DC converter. This means that instead of powering the battery monitor itself from HV battery bank, it must be powered from a lower voltage tap (<35 VDC) of the HV battery bank or a separate/external DC-DC converter. A double sided adhesive pad for mounting the divider box and clear installation instructions are also included in this kit.

Alarm Output Expander kit (for e-xpert pro (-hv) only)

The Alarm Output Expander kit, adds three additional alarm relays to your e-xpert pro battery monitor. This kit can be used in case the application requires each alarm type to be assigned to a different alarm relay. Within the setup menu of the e-xpert pro each alarm type can be assigned to '[1]' which is the internal relay, or to '[]2', '[]3' or '[]4' which are the external relays of this kit. Each relay can switch up to 60VDC with a maximum current of 1A @ 30VDC.

The Alarm output expander kit greatly increases the versatility of the e-xpert pro in more complex battery systems.

1200A/50mV Shunt kit (for e-xpert pro (-hv) only)
(art. no. 5055180)

The e-xpert pro 1200A/50mV Shunt kit, can be used in applications where the battery current would exceed the maximum ratings of the standard supplied 500A shunt. After installing the 1200A/50mV shunt, the only thing left to do is to set the e-xpert pro (-hv) Function settings F6.1 and F6.2 to respectively 1200 Amps and 50 mV.
